Rusty Taco, the popular fast-casual taco chain known for its flavorful handmade tacos, is gearing up to expand its footprint in Colorado Springs. The brand will open two new locations in the city, a company representative tells What Now Denver.

The upcoming Colorado Springs locations are at 7491 Black Forest Road and 711 East Fillmore Street. These two stores will welcome customers sometime in the third quarter of this year, although an exact date for either is unknown.

With an extensive menu of handmade street tacos, all-day breakfast tacos, and made-from-scratch sides, the QSR chain is a tasty option for a quick meal on the go. The brand was started in 2010 in Dallas, Texas, and has grown significantly since.

This expansion is part of a larger strategy to enter the Denver market, with plans for seven new locations across the eastern part of the state. A push by franchise group Good 2 Go Eats, the new stores will all open within about a three-month span.

“We’re thrilled to bring Rusty Taco to the Denver market,” said Eric Murphy, Vice President of Good 2 Go Eats. “Our goal is to open all seven locations in 100 days, bringing over ten unique tacos, signature queso, and freshly made in-house guacamole to our guests.”
