After submitting paperwork to open in Oceanside, Better Buzz Coffee appears nowhere close to slowing down, with a new location potentially coming to 1465 Vista Way.

The company’s newest location is set to open right next to the 5 Freeway and California State Route 78, according to documents submitted to the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality. This is a massive accomplishment for the company, considering Better Buzz Coffee recently opened its 25th location in downtown Del Mar, replacing a Starbucks at 1435 Camino Del Mar Suite C. It’s the latest North County site to open, joining a handful of recently opened sites.

Last Month, What Now San Diego reported on the company possibly opening a second Oceanside site at 1004 Mission Avenue and another location in Poway, replacing Chamoy Tacos Fruit in the Poway Crossings. While the latter is actively happening, It’s unclear if the former is still in the works, considering this new site is relatively close to Oceanside. Southern California isn’t the only place Better Buzz wants to expand. On top of the many new North County sites, the coffee chain has also been working on new locations in Tempe, Henderson, Scottsdale, Fullerton, and North Las Vegas.

While the new Vista location has yet to be formally announced by the company, Peter Santos, North County district manager for Better Buzz, tells The Coast News Group that the company has a few plans and is eyeing a new location in Vista and possibly a second location in Oceanside. While details regarding the new site have yet to be made, the company is searching for a spot with good visibility. This location along the freeway will be an excellent spot for Better Buzz Coffee. It’s unclear when this location is set to open, but considering it’s early in the permitting process and this will be built from the ground up, it’s safe to say this site will likely open sometime next year.
