Chipotle is preparing to open a second site in Wolfchase this spring, this time outside of the Galleria mall, at 2825 N. Germantown Pkwy., Suite 105.

Soon customers won’t have to go inside the Wolfchase Galleria to get their Chipotle fix.

The quick-serve Mexican restaurant is moving into the Wolf Creek Shopping Center at the intersection of North Germantown and Wolf Creek Parkways, next to AT&T and Visionworks. Permits are currently under review by the city planning and development department.

Only a handful of Chipotles exist in the Memphis metro, but it seems the restaurant chain is expanding quickly. Additional plans in the greater Memphis area include Collierville in late spring, and Millington this fall, according to Sally Evans, Chipotle External Communications.

In addition to burritos, tacos, salads and quesadillas, Chipotle now offers an exclusive Fajita Quesadilla for pickup or delivery online and through its app, and Lifestyle Bowls to help customers meet their goals, from Balanced Macros and Grain Freedom to High Protein and Plant Powered.

“Being real means … we only use 53 ingredients you can pronounce. And the only ingredient that is hard to pronounce at Chipotle is ‘Chipotle,’” reads the website.
