Southaven’s first American Deli is set to emerge at 920 Stateline Rd W, taking over the former site of El Patron. Spearheaded by franchisee Kevin Hwang, the building will undergo extensive renovations, encompassing a complete overhaul of the parking lot and a comprehensive update to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to meet code standards. Facade changes will also contribute to the revitalization of the space.

As gleaned from the minutes of a December fifth Board of Alderman meeting, construction is slated to commence at the beginning of 2024, with a targeted completion date in the third quarter of the same year. The anticipated expenditure for this transformative venture falls within the range of $400,000 to $450,000, encompassing all aspects of renovation, construction, and equipment.

Renowned for its diverse American-style offerings, American Deli boasts a menu featuring subs, burgers, wings, fried rice, gyros, salads, and more. With this exciting venture on the horizon, the community can anticipate a revamped dining experience that blends quality and variety. Keep an eye out for the grand opening as Southaven welcomes a fresh addition to its culinary landscape, promising an array of flavors to satisfy every palate.
