AutoZone is getting ready to pull into a new Memphis location. The chain, known for its selection of automotive parts and accessories, is working on developing a storefront on Hacks Cross Road, and it is moving steadily through the permitting process.

AutoZone will be occupying a 7,147 square foot space located at 3875 Hacks Cross Road. This summer has seen the store working through attaining the permits and approvals necessary for opening. It has a commercial electrical permit under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development as of August 12.

An opening timeline is not yet available for AutoZone’s upcoming Windyke location, however given the steady clip it is attaining its approvals at, it seems probable that the store will be ready in late 2026 or early 2027.

Founded in 1979, AutoZone has established itself as a one-stop shop for all a driver’s car needs. The massive chain has more than 7,000 locations open globally.
