Memphis amateur mixologists, get ready to stock up your home bars. A new liquor store-aptly named Liquor Junction-is heading towards welcoming customers, gathering the paperwork necessary to open its doors.

Liquor Junction is setting up shop at 2133 Whitten Road. The store was issued a certificate of occupancy from the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development on August 31 and has a sign permit under review as of September 3.

While an opening timeline is not presently available, Liquor Junction’s issued certificate of occupancy is a positive indicator that the storefront will be ready in the not too distant future. The concept does not yet have a digital footprint to offer any further information about what may lie in store for future customers, though the name offers a pretty comprehensive picture of Liquor Junction’s wares.

What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership and will update readers as further details emerge.
