Lucano’s Pizza, the popular pizza restaurant in Crest Hill, is gearing up for a new location in Berwyn at 6950 W. Windsor Ave.

Ten years after making its debut in Crest Hill, the company is getting ready to open its second location at an unknown time, according to the company’s website. When the new restaurant does open in the depot district, customers can expect crust tavern-style pizza, hearty portions of Italian classics, sandwiches, and salads in a family-friendly atmosphere. All the pizzas start with made-in-house-daily pizza dough and are topped with Wisconsin’s highest-quality mozzarella cheese. The new pizza restaurant will replace Rovitos Pizza.

This area will be a perfect spot for the company’s first expansion. On top of having foot traffic from MacNeal Hospital and not being too far from Old Rte 66, Lucano’s Pizza will only have to compete with Nonno’s Pizza, Slice Factory, and Little Caesars. The new pizza restaurant will share a building with the Alphabet Learning Center, Rudo’s Furniture & Upholstery, and Munchies & More, bringing in even more foot traffic to the restaurant.

If the new Berwyn location is anything like the original, customers can expect a variety of pizza styles, including mamas Lucano’s stuffed. Pizzas can be served by the slice or whole, ranging between $5 and $32. For picky eaters or someone who wants something specific, any pizza can be customized with dozens of toppings. Lucano’s Pizza is also available for catering and large parties.
