A new Latin American concept, Casa Colven, is seeking approval for a liquor license at 79 Clinton Street, previously home to Cloud Vietnamese restaurant.

Traded first reported in January that Casa Colven leased the space. Owner Adriana Torres is also behind Cuzco Peru, a Peruvian restaurant in Queens.

The spot is expected to serve items like arepitas, tequeños (fried cheese sticks), empanadas, nachos and tostones (fried plantains).

There are plans for eight indoor tables that will seat 32 as well as one bar that will seat six, according to the filed paperwork. The proposed hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

As of now, an opening timeline remains unclear. What Now New York got in touch with Torres, but she was unable to provide further information about the concept prior to the time of publication.
