Insomnia Cookies, the late-night sweet shop taking the country by storm, is opening a new location in Five Points at 815 Lomax Street, Suite 815

The company’s newest location will move into the former home of Feliz Ice Cream, The Copper Closet, and Daughters Flower Shop, according to a recently approved plan review application from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. A few months ago, the city reviewed a permit application for an estimated $245,524 tenant renovation, according to Jacksonville Daily Record. The new corporate-owned location will be newly constructed, so it will likely be a few months before opening.

When the new Insomnia Cookies opens, customers can expect various delicious cookie options in delivery or carryout. The eatery changes its menu every few weeks. Currently, Insomnia Cookies has a variety of holiday-themed cookies, including Jinglebread, carrot cake, cranberry white chocolate, and more. There are other classic cookies on the menu and limited-time deluxe options, such as the Reese’s peanut butter-filled deluxe.

This will be an excellent location for the company’s newest site, sitting in a busy area between Riverside Park and Memorial Park. The block that Insomnia Cookies will be moving to is filled with various eateries and a dispensary, so this will be a perfect spot for afterward. While there are no other cookie shops in the area, the company will have to compete with Me, Myself, & Pies, Waffle Cone, and Mixed Fillings Pie Shop. Insomnia Cookies will share a building with APB Sneakers, Odessa Slava Ukrainian Cafe, and Sin City Smoke Shop.
