According to a recently submitted permit application, Pizza Hut plans to expand its San Antonio area footprint, gearing up to debut a new outpost in Converse later this year.

Coming to 9183 Farm-To-Market Road 78, the eatery will land near establishments such as Bush’s Chicken, McDonald’s, and Street Treats.

What Now San Antonio spoke briefly with Mick Rosckowff — the Co-founder, Partner & COO of Emerge! Inc. — who shared, “It’s a relocation,” though it isn’t clear from where.

Nevertheless, a recent construction permit application provides further insight.

Described as “a tenant build-out of an existing empty lease space to a new Pizza Hut restaurant as a delivery or carry-out only,” renovations to the 1,500-square-foot space are scheduled to begin on April 16 and finish on June 16, 2025.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
