Less than halfway through 2025, the word on every foodies lips has been “Wonder”. The foodhall has launched a full-scale expansion across the northeast and shows no signs of stopping. Rosslyn is included in its DMV domination plans, with a location set to open in the region later this year, reports the Washington Business Journal.

The unstoppable chain has filed a mechanical permit for a ground floor space at 1771 North Pierce Street. Locals will undoubtedly be excited to see the storefront active again; the space, nestled in the Cortland apartment building, has been vacant since Foxtrot closed in April of last year.

Though there is not yet a precise date for locals excited to sample Wonder’s assorted fare to circle on their calendars, the foodhall is aiming for a fall opening.

Wonder was founded in 2018 with an unusual model and huge ambitions. The concept, which hopes to become the “Amazon of food and beverage”, houses several concepts from high-profile partners under one roof. Guests are invited to order from as many eateries as tickle their fancy, and the meal is then made to order and all charged on one tab. This allows every member of a party (or one very indecisive visitor) to order precisely what they want, whether that’s pizza, burgers, or chicken.
