I Can Barbecue Korean Grill, an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue restaurant with locations throughout Southern California, is getting ready to open its first location in San Diego at 3804 Valley Centre Dr.

The company currently operates in Fountain Valley, Irvine, Santa Ana, and Tustin, but will soon expand even further south, with a new location coming opening in the former home of Souplantation, according to documents submitted to the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality. This new location of I Can Barbeque is set to open sometime in mid-2026, offering a unique all-you-can-eat experience with a wide selection of freshly prepared meats, including halal options, making it inclusive for diverse dietary preferences. With robotic servers enhancing the modern dining atmosphere, this restaurant provides a memorable Korean barbecue experience for everyone.

When this new location opens next year, customers can expect a variety of meats, including beef, pork, chicken, and seafood, which diners can grill at their tables. The menu features items such as thinly sliced beef brisket, marinated boneless beef short ribs, pork belly, and bulgogi. All items are freshly prepared daily using high-quality ingredients. The restaurant aims to deliver a first-class dining experience that exceeds expectations. The restaurant provides both lunch and dinner options, with lunch priced at $31.99 and dinner at $40.99. Lunch is available Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, while dinner is served from 3:30 PM to closing. On Saturdays and Sundays, the dinner price applies all day.

I Can Barbecue offers a distinctive dining experience that highlights the Korean tradition of shared meals while embracing multicultural influences. The restaurant’s serene, immersive setting serves as a gathering place for diverse communities to celebrate special occasions and enjoy quality time together. Specializing in Korean barbecue—known as gogi-gui, or “meat roast”—the restaurant features gas grills built into each table, allowing guests to cook their own meals to their liking. I Can Barbecue is the only Korean BBQ restaurant in Orange County to offer Halal meat, expanding its appeal while preserving the authenticity of Korean cuisine.
