Port of Subs is making a major play in Colorado with plans to open nearly two dozen new locations across the Denver metro area, as part of a major development deal. According to QSR Magazine, regional franchise partners will open 20 stores in the Front Range and another 20 in Texas.

Franchisees Jagpal Pandher and Kunal Suri told What Now Denver that they are actively scouting and developing locations in the metropolitan area. Site selection is underway in several priority neighborhoods, including Centennial, DTC, Littleton, Denver Downtown, Arvada, and Boulder. The first of these stores is expected to open by the end of this year, followed by another six to eight next year, and the remainder will launch in 2027.

Pandher and Suri will be supported in operations by Harpreet Kaur and Puneet Suri. The team has collective experience in franchising with brands like McDonald’s, Starbucks, Target, and 7-Eleven, the company’s website explains.

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Port of Subs as regional developers for Texas and Colorado. The brand’s legacy, loyal following, and momentum made this the right opportunity at the right time. Our goal is to build a connected network of franchisees who share our vision for consistency, community, and operational excellence. We’re ready to hit the ground running,” Kunal told What Now Denver.

This large expansion push by Port of Subs is backed by Area 15 Ventures, a private equity business owned by RE/MAX co-founder Dave Liniger. Area 15 Ventures acquired the sandwich venture in 2024, when it had about 130 units open.
