New Jonna’s Bar and Grill Opening in Howell Later This Month

The restaurant praised for its burgers is soon opening a third location in Michigan.

A new restaurant is taking over the former B-Line Bar and Grill site in Howell.

Passersby of the new Jonna’s Bar & Grill restaurant coming to 5960 Pinckney Road have noticed workers are putting the finishing touches on the building. The business also posted on social media that the restaurant is “coming soon.” According to Mike Jonna, president of Jonna’s Market which operates the bar and grill, the new location is set to open around July 26-27.

Jonna told What Now Detroit the new restaurant will have a menu almost the same as the other locations, serving steaks, pastas, salmon and desserts. They may launch some specials after the opening.

The company has been planning the new Howell spot for over a year, as the space was purchased in April 2024 and the deal was closed in October of the same year. Livingston Daily reported the former B-Line Bar and Grill was demolished and was rebuilt for the new restaurant.

Jonna’s Bar & Grill already has a Howell location at 1455 N Michigan Avenue, Suite 400. The restaurant closest to Detroit is in New Hudson at 56849 Grand River Avenue. According to their website, the company has been voted one of Michigan’s best burgers.
