A mobile coffee shop that travels all around the state including to Detroit is finding a permanent home near Grand Rapids.
The owners of Lola Lee’s Coffee recently announced they will be opening a new cafe and bookstore in the Grand Rapids area. The exact address has not been released yet, but it will be at the Tanger Outlets in Byron Center. In a recent social media post, the owners Georgia and Michael McNee are working on the interior of the space and are hoping to open by the end of the year.
“Can’t wait to take this next step in our journey” Says the post on their Facebook page.
Michael and Georgia are a husband-and-wife duo who travel to many cities around Michigan including Detroit, Holland, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Kalamazoo and Saginaw. They also go to various events and venues around the state, including the Tanger outlets, their new location. The two first announced their coffee trailer in early 2023.
Their current menu features hot and cold brews, along with specialty pastries. Micahel and Georgia brew the coffees themselves and sell specialty syrup, bagged coffee and even vanilla latte soap. The menu for the new cafe has not yet been made public.
