The Pennsylvania-based gas station is continuing to grow in Southeast Michigan.

It is being reported the newest Sheetz for metro Detroit will be coming to 10081 Highland Road in Hartland. This will be going in at the former Walgreens location. According to an article from WHMI, Hartland Township Trustees are looking at finalizing plans to build the new gas station/restaurant.

Along with the many snacks, Sheetz has a large menu including the Big Mozz Burger served with mozzarella sticks, provolone and marinara, and the Boss Bacon Burger with red onions, lettuce, bacon, American cheese, mayo and mustard. There are also salads, salad wraps and other lunch options served.

The new gas station is going in near the merger of E Highland Road and U.S. 23. It will join other fast food options like Arby’s, as well as Jimmy Johns across the street. A Speedway gas station is also on the south side of the street.

Sheetz has been expanding in metro Detroit for the last two years, and What Now Detroit recently reported on new locations coming to Orion Township, Belleville and Shelby Township. The timeline of construction will not be known until plans are finalized.

What Now Detroit has reached out to the Sheetz team, and this article may be updated.
