DFW foodies, mark your calendars. Angie’s Lobster, a concept committed to making affordable and delicious seafood accessible to a larger audience has set a date for the opening of its Plano location-and it’s nearly close enough to taste, reports Culture Map Dallas.

The Phoenix based concept will be making its Texas debut at 701 West 15th Street in a 3,120 square foot building that previously housed a Boston Market. Locals who have been awaiting the restaurant’s arrival can breathe a sigh of relief; Angie’s will be opening in just over a month, on November 13.

And just what lies in store for Plano diners once Angie’s opens its doors? Future regulars can look forward to drive-thru self-service as well as indoor seating. However the restaurant does not accept cash, so be sure to show up with a debit or credit card or a phone tap payment method.

Angie’s opened its first location in 2022 with a simple objective: “to be able to sell lobster and wild-caught seafood for the same price as a traditional fast food chicken or hamburger meal.” The menu will offer lobster rolls, warm rice bowls, burritos, and 5 dollar salads.

Co-founder Roushan Christofellis explains the chain’s motivation, saying: “We are disrupting the restaurant space by changing who has access to luxury foods like Maine lobster, USDA Prime Steak, premium and organic ingredients, house-made sauces, and gourmet foods made without preservatives and additives.”
