Nicole and Scott Mattson, owners of Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club, are expanding their hospitality footprint even further soon. Westword reports the couple will be debuting a new concept called La Vie En Rose in the former Noble Riot space, at 1336 27th Street.
A Parisian-style champagne and cocktail bar, the chic new venue will be inspired by vintage French elegance, featuring velvet seating, red and pink tones, and a built-in champagne bowl. Regular Architecture, the same firm behind Denver standouts like Brutø, Beckon, and the Wolf’s Tailor, is working on the project.
It will have a wine program featuring classic selections from French regions like Burgundy, Beaujolais, and Champagne, and a full bar with hors d’oeuvres and small bites. There will also be a private dining room available for intimate dinners and special events.
This new venture comes after Noble Riot closed its doors in May and announced an official closure at the end of August. The Denver Post reports owner Troy Bowen cited rising costs and shrinking sales.
The Mattsons once co-owned Noble Riot with Troy Bowen from 2019 to 2023. They cofounded music and dinner joint Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club in RiNo in 2015, and celebrated 10 years in business earlier this year.
