An Italian coffee chain is continuing to move around Illinois.

In a report from The Daily Herald, Qargo Coffee will be opening a new location at 4 W Rand Road. The new cafe will be much like the other locations, with seats inside and a drive-thru area. According to franchise owner Moiz Hussain, he is hoping to debut the spot in three months.

Hussain represents Tamkeen LLC which is the franchise leading the project. He and his team are still waiting on permits from the Village of Arlington Heights so construction will start. This will be in the Arlington Plaza.

Qargo Coffee’s classic brews include their cortado, espresso macchiato single, iced late, and their self-titled coffee. Locations serve cold brews, energy smoothies, boba teas, along with pastries and breakfast sandwiches.

The company has a presence in Bolingbrook, Elgin and one planned for St. Charles. Cafes can be found all over the country, including in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, California, Texas and Washington D.C. Their slogan is “Italy’s finest coffee and pastries.”

Hussain said the lease was signed at the start of 2024, and it has been a long process to get open. Once the permits are approved, construction will begin on the 4,200-square-foot space.
