Known for its tandoori and biryani offerings, Ekta Indian Cuisine was inspected on November 3, when multiple violations were cited. According to the report, the person in charge was unable to identify the five foodborne illnesses required by the Department.

- Inspection Date: November 4, 2025
Philadelphia coffee shop Cake & Joe was inspected on November 4 and cited for several food safety violations. The establishment had visible evidence of insect activity (fruit flies).
An open beverage container of an employee was seen in a food preparation area, according to the report. Food debris, plumbing problems, and other issues led to the statement by the department that the establishment was not in satisfactory compliance, and along with this, the report also cites that there will be a reinspection. Bar Jawn

Bar Jawn is a sister restaurant of Pizza Jawn, which is known for serving elevated bar food with Philly flavors. The establishment, known for Italian-inspired cuisine, received a few food code citations.
The health inspection report mentions that the hand-wash sink in the kitchen area was blocked by a food warmer and not accessible at all times for employee use. Black residue was observed on the interior of the ice machine bin around the lid in the basement area. Standing water was observed in the three-compartment sink in the basement. Dim Sum & Noodle is a laid-back restaurant offering a Pan-Asian menu from Japanese ramen to Cantonese small plates. In a recent health inspection, the restaurant was cited for not being in satisfactory compliance with the required food safety standards.
