Locally owned claw machine arcade Geemu Geemu is expanding, with a second location planned for Westminster, not too far from its original spot. The new venue will be located at 5054 W. 92nd Ave, according to the brand’s website, which announced the news.

Co-founder Kim Pham shared details about the project’s progress with What Now Denver. The new site is currently under construction and expected to open in the next two to three months. A post in a community Facebook group noted that a “Coming Soon” sign has gone up at the property.

Inspired by their shared love of claw machines and arcade games,  something they frequently did as dates in the early years of their relationship, Pham and her partner, David, started the venture. The couple’s first location, at 12027 N. Pecos St, Westminster, has become a popular hangout.

“This time around, we want the grand opening of our second location to be bigger, more toys, and more exciting than ever,” Pham said. “We’re putting our all into making this new location extra special—with more free activities, giveaways, and community events for both new guests and our returning regulars.”

Pham encourages locals to follow Geemu Geemu’s social media pages for grand opening updates.
