A popular national chain is getting ready to change the way DFW diners think about barbecue. Gen Korean BBQ is bringing interactive dining to a new Euless location later this year.

The innovative concept is bringing its table-top grills, premium meats, and authentic Korean cuisine to 2960 Rio Grande Boulevard. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that the restaurant will have a dedicated 4,847 square feet, and that work will wrap by May 1 of this year. While this does not assure an opening timeline, it does suggest Euless diners will be able to stop in for a meal this spring.

Gen Korean served up its first meal in Los Angeles in 2011. The chain has spread to include more than 50 locations nationwide. Customers have been delighted by the brand’s tabletop grills, a feature which allows visitors to curate their meals and to enjoy an interactive element.

And what about the fare? Gen Korean offers something for everyone. The website explains: “The expansive menu highlights both traditional Korean dishes and Korean-American favorites, featuring premium meats, poultry, seafood, and fresh vegetables.”
