Cavender’s Boot City is expanding its Tennessee footprint with a new store opening in Murfreesboro. The western retailer with its wide range of boots and clothing will have its official opening on Friday, February 20, making it the fifth store in the Volunteer State.
Premier Western Retailer Expands Operations in Middle Tennessee
Cavender’s Boot City is known for its variety of Western footwear, clothing, and accessories. The retailer also offers cowboy and fashion hats, denim in various fits and washes, belts, buckles, flame-resistant clothing, and more.
Being an iconic brand for more than 60 years, Cavender’s is adding one more store to its great portfolio. The new location is part of Cavender’s expansion into Tennessee and reflects the retailer’s larger plan to serve communities with high demand for western-inspired fashion and work attire.
The store is at 1979 Old Fort Parkway and will operate from Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Hours for Sunday are between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Inside the New Cavender’s Boot City Store

Cavender’s Boot City is introducing a 12,000 square foot store in Murfreesboro. It will stock the entire assortment of men’s, women’s, and children’s style wear. A large variety of handcrafted western boots, hats, shirts, jeans, dresses, belts, western accessories, work boots, and western clothing can be expected by the shoppers.
The store will have all the national brands like Ariat, Wrangler, and Resistol. Along with this, Cavender’s exclusive brands include Rafter C, Rockin’ C, and JRC & Sons. Besides retail products, customers will also access some personalized services such as professional boot fitting, hat shaping, and boot stretching.
The My Cavender’s loyalty program will offer special perks to customers. Loyal guests can enjoy exclusive deals, prior sale announcements, invitations to special events, and easy return options.
James Cavender started Cavender’s Boot City in Pittsburg, Texas, in 1965. What started as one western outlet has expanded to be a national retailer with over 130 stores in over 18 states.
The introduction of its store in Murfreesboro makes Cavender’s Boot City even stronger in its presence in Middle Tennessee. The new site introduces the brand’s classics and customer-centered services to a developing regional market.
