American Power Equipment, LLC, submitted a voluntary bankruptcy petition on February 26, the latest court filings on PACER state. Its Chapter 11 proceedings are underway in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Alabama.

As generally happens in Chapter 11 bankruptcies, American Power Equipment, LLC is set to go through a restructuring of its debts, not the liquidation of assets.

According to its website, American Power Equipment was established in 1965 and has been operating as an outdoor power equipment dealer in South Alabama for around 60 years. Under the leadership of Jason Palmer, the family-owned business has been providing lawn care equipment, professional tools, and services.
