Soak and Sage, a wellness-focused spa concept founded in the Seattle area, is preparing to open a new location at 2200 Bowline Ave. in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, co-founder Leslie Goeres told WhatNow Nashville in a recent interview. The project is currently targeting an early 2027 debut.
According to recent reporting by the Nashville Post, the concept will bring a large-scale day spa experience to the city, centered on hydrotherapy, saunas, and wellness-focused amenities.
Goeres said the Nashville location is being designed to encourage guests to spend extended periods onsite rather than visit for a single treatment.
“We really wanted to create a place where people could come spend several hours relaxing and recharging,” Goeres said.
According to Goeres, the facility will feature five pool vessels, saunas, treatment rooms, and a café-bar concept offering healthy food and beverages. While memberships will be available, she said most guests are expected to use day passes.
“We anticipate about 85 percent of our guests will be day-pass users,” Goeres said, adding that the company wants the space to feel approachable and accessible for both regular visitors and occasional guests.
The founders’ experiences inspired the concept in Northern Nevada and Seattle, where wellness and spa culture are more deeply integrated into daily life. Goeres said the team identified an opportunity to introduce a similar experience to Nashville as the city continues to grow.
The company is currently working through the development process and expects to release additional renderings later this summer. Goeres told What Now Nashville that interior 3D renderings are anticipated toward the end of June or early July.
