Memphis-area foodies, get ready to welcome a new restaurant with the tastes and charms of an old favorite to the local dining scene. Flavors, a concept focused on serving comfort food favorites in a warm and cozy environment, is preparing to open its doors to feed hungry customers.
The restaurant currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for its 11615 US Highway 70 home. The submitted paperwork shows that the storefront will provide Flavors with 1,800 square feet of space in which to greet and serve customers.
Flavors owner Matthew Pryor IV generously set aside some time to fill What Now Memphis in on what promises to become an Arlington favorite. He describes the concept as “A new home-style restaurant proudly serving our community with the best in Soul Food, fried chicken, seafood, and barbecue.”
If that wasn’t enough to make area mouths water, Flavors also promises that every dish will be made from scratch, daily.
Pryor and his team are committed to creating a space that customers will want to return to again and again, both for the delicious cuisine and the friendly environment. Pryor explains: “Flavors is a place where family and friends can gather, relax, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, exceptional service, and unforgettable meals that keep you coming back for more.”
A precise opening date is not yet available for Flavors, though it appears to be on track to open later this summer. The restaurant is certain to prove worth the wait; as Pryor summarizes “We are committed to creating a clean, comfortable, and vibrant dining experience for everyone who walks through our doors.”
