Thai House Kitchen, a Thai restaurant concept from hospitality operators Naruedee Mongkhonluang and Paul Korsakul, is getting ready to open a new location in Redondo Beach at 1914 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 2B.
The restaurant recently submitted a liquor license application for the space at One South, replacing Kotsu Ramen Redondo Beach, which remains open and is transferring its liquor license to the incoming concept. Paul tells WhatNow Los Angeles that this location is expected to open in about two months. Additional details regarding the menu and other information about this restaurant have yet to be announced.
Mongkhonluang and Korsakul have more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The duo opened Baramee Thai in San Pedro in 2011 and later expanded their portfolio by partnering with the Korean fried chicken franchise bb.q Chicken in 2022. Their projects have focused on introducing a mix of casual dining concepts throughout the region.
What Now previously reported that the owners were preparing to launch Thai House Street Eats in Lakewood. That concept was slated to replace Humblebrags at 3225 E. Carson Street and was expected to serve a menu featuring shrimp-and-rice plates, larb, green papaya salads, and Thai sausage. It remains unclear whether the Redondo Beach location will feature a similar menu or operate under a different format.
The new restaurant will join the growing collection of dining options at One South, a mixed-use development along Pacific Coast Highway. This will be an excellent landing space for Thai House Kitchen given the area’s steady traffic and proximity to nearby residential neighborhoods. The location also offers visibility within one of Redondo Beach’s primary commercial corridors.
