Inspired by classic Americana viewed through the lens of Broadway, Jack’s All Day is a new restaurant coming to the Times Square area of Midtown. Located at 731 8th Ave., Jack’s All Day will offer approachable, modern American fare when it opens in mid-June. According to a press release, dishes will include Baked Clams Casino, a Rainbow Trout Club Sandwich, and a Nashville Hot Chickpea Sandwich. The restaurant will also have a full bar featuring classic drinks and signature cocktails, such as a Tangerine Spritz made with tangerine-infused Aperol.

But perhaps more striking than the food and drink at Jack’s All Day is the restaurant’s transcendent décor. Under the direction of Broadway set designer David Korins, who has designed sets for Hamilton and Beetlejuice, Jack’s All Day transports guests to a whimsical vision of mid-century America. The wood-paneled room is crowned by an astroturfed ceiling meant to resemble a freshly cut lawn, accented with light fixtures and a bird bath. Jack’s All Day will be able to seat 68 guests and be open from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday.
