Vine Hospitality has confirmed the closure of its Bay Area restaurant locations. Restaurants including Left Bank, LB Steak, and Meso, have closed or are planning to close their outposts this week. The restaurants shared official closure announcements on social media.
Vine Hospitality Shuts Down Entire Restaurant Collection
The Bay Area is hit with a wave of sudden closures, as Vine Hospitality wraps up its operations. The hospitality group was founded in 1994 and operates several restaurant concepts across the Bay Area.
On June 22, Left Bank, Petite Left Bank, LB Steak, and Meso Modern Mediterranean announced their closures on social media.
According to a Kron4 report, Alistair Levine stated, “The business wasn’t successful enough to continue operating. We don’t have a plan to reopen anything elsewhere in the Bay Area.”
LB Steak to Close Both Locations This Week

LB Steak has closed its Bishop Ranch location on June 22 and plans to close its Santana Row location on June 24. The restaurant is a modern American steakhouse. Its menu focused on prime cuts and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant also featured an extensive beverage program with a wide selection of whiskey and bourbon.
The restaurant was led by Chef Rolan Passot, a James Beard Award nominee. LB Steak offers a relaxed and upscale atmosphere.
In an Instagram post, the team behind the restaurant shared, “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our LB Steak restaurants will be closing.”
The restaurant thanked the community, staff, and guests for their support. “From all of us at LB Steak, thank you for being part of our journey. We will miss you dearly,” added the team.
Vine Hospitality Closure Brings an End to Left Bank

Left Bank, a Persian and French-style restaurant, is also shutting down its complete operations in the Bay Area.
In the post, the restaurant team announced, “Our final days of service will be Petite Left Bank Tiburon – June 22; Left Bank Menlo Park – June 23; Left Bank Santana Row – June 23; and Left Bank Larkspur – June 24.”

Meso Modern Mediterranean Said Goodbye on June 22

Meso Modern Mediterranean permanently closed its doors on June 22. The restaurant served Mediterranean-inspired dishes in a casual dining setting.
The Meso team said, “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Meso Modern Mediterranean will be closing, with our final day of service on June 22.”
Talking about the restaurant’s journey, the team mentioned that “Since opening our doors, it has been our privilege to share the flavors, traditions, and hospitality of the Mediterranean with our community.”
The abrupt closure of the restaurants has shocked the San Francisco dining community. Several fans expressed their disappointment on social media.
