Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is expanding to San Antonio with its first shop in the city. The new store will open on Thursday, July 23 at 15900 La Cantera Parkway, Suite 7751. will celebrate the opening with free scoops, merchandise giveaways, and a yearlong ice cream giveaway.
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams Opens First San Antonio Scoop Shop
The San Antonio shop will feature Jeni’s signature ice cream flavors alongside seasonal and limited-time varieties. The new location at The Shops at La Cantera will mark Jeni’s latest Texas opening.
As part of the grand opening celebration, the shop will offer free scoops on July 23 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The first 50 people in line will also receive Jeni’s branded merchandise while supplies last.
The celebration will include a giveaway in which five winners will receive free ice cream for a year. It is equivalent to one complimentary Jeni’s signature item each week for 52 weeks. Guests can enter by downloading the Jeni’s app, joining Jeni’s Splendid Rewards program, and scanning their rewards account in the event.
What’s on the Menu
The new scoop shop will offer a variety of Jeni’s favorite flavors and seasonal tastes. Signature favorites include Brambleberry Crisp and Gooey Butter Cake, while summer favorites include Campfire S’mores, Strawberry Pretzel Pie, and the new Hibiscus Chili Punch Sorbet.
The San Antonio shop will also have Biscuits with the Boss, a flavor returning following its previous limited release. Inspired by the Ted Lasso series, the flavor is making a comeback alongside the announcement of the show’s fourth season.
The first Jeni’s in San Antonio will help to introduce the brand to local customers and represent the brand’s move into a new market.

The company uses its own signature recipe along with fresh milk from family-run dairies.
