Fire on the Mountain is preparing to open a third Denver location, with a new restaurant planned for Central Park.
The new restaurant will be located at 10155 E. 29th Drive, taking over the former TAG Burger Bar space.
It is owned by Andrea West and Craig Oberlink. Fire on the Mountain has been serving wings in Denver since opening its West Highland location in 2012. A second restaurant followed in Wash Park in 2019.
West said customers can expect the same neighborhood feel that has made the restaurant a favorite over the years. “We’re a super family-friendly neighborhood restaurant. We serve chicken wings, burgers, salads and sandwiches. We’ve got a full bar with an awesome craft beer selection and craft cocktails. We make 17 different sauces, so we’re kind of all about the sauce,” she said.
She added that Fire on the Mountain focuses on fresh, handmade ingredients and elevated comfort food.
“We use really good, fresh, quality ingredients, and we make a bunch of food by hand. It’s all really yummy, kind of elevated bar food, if you will. We like to be the restaurant that we like to go to. It’s very welcoming to families, it’s a great place to catch a game and it’s a fun place to catch up with friends. It’s just a really fun place with fun music and a really good energy to it,” West said.
Founded in Portland, Oregon, in 2005, Fire on the Mountain has built a loyal following for its wings, house-made sauces and neighborhood atmosphere. West said an opening date for the Central Park location may be in September.
