Dynamic, high-intensity Reformer classes are heading to South Austin. According to public filings, Pilates Addiction plans to open a new studio at 9901 Brodie Lane, Suite 145A, inside Shady Hollow Village.

Pilates Addiction’s sessions are designed to keep participants’ heart rates elevated while accommodating a wide range of fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. Class formats range from high-intensity workouts to recovery-focused stretching sessions.

What Now Austin spoke with co-franchisees Rosa Fishman and Victor Sandoval, who confirmed they are targeting a mid- to late-fall opening this year. The couple said South Austin holds special personal significance for them.

“South Austin is home,” they said. “This is where my husband and I met, got married, and are now raising our children. We’ve lived here for more than 15 years, and we’re excited to bring this concept to the community we know and love.”

Fishman and Sandoval also confirmed that the South Austin studio will be the first of three Pilates Addiction locations they plan to open.

“While we’re excited about our future growth, this first location is especially meaningful because it’s in the community we’ve called home for so long,” they told What Now Austin.

The South Austin opening follows What Now Austin‘s previous coverage of an East Austin studio, where CEO Sarah Luna and Chief Growth Officer Jeff Miller described a modern, high-energy concept built around the brand’s proprietary gold Aurum Reformer, which combines a reformer, jump board, ballet barre, and Wunda Chair into a single machine.

The brand has since sold more than 300 franchise territories across 27 states as part of a rapid national expansion that has also brought new studios to Keller.
