MaGi Foods is preparing to upgrade its production facility in Schertz, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The project, located at 17750 Lookout Road, Suite 205, calls for the construction of a 384-square-foot washroom area designed to support the company’s food production operations.
According to the filing, the approximately $259,769 renovation will include the installation of a walled area equipped with water heaters, a sink and washdown stations for cleaning food production equipment. Construction is expected to begin on August 8, 2026, with completion anticipated by September 24, 2026.
The project is privately funded, with EastGroup Properties LP listed as the property owner. No design firm has been identified in the filing.
While permit documents indicate the improvements are intended to enhance the facility’s equipment cleaning capabilities, additional details about the project have not been released.
