H-E-B is preparing to modernize one of its fuel stations in Schertz, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The project will take place at Fuel Station 415, located at 17460 IH 35 North, and calls for the demolition of the existing fuel facility and the installation of a new one.
According to the filing, the renovation carries an estimated construction cost of $560,000. The work will encompass approximately 1,500 square feet and is expected to begin on September 15, 2026, with completion anticipated by December 15, 2026.
The project is privately funded, with H-E-B Petroleum listed as the property owner. No tenant or design firm has been identified in the filing.
While permit documents do not specify what upgrades will be included in the new facility, the scope of work indicates that the existing fuel station will be demolished and replaced as part of the renovation.
As of this writing, additional details about the project, including whether the station will remain open during construction or if new features will be added, have not been announced.
What Now San Antonio has reached out to H-E-B for more information and will update this story as details become available.
