Placerville Public House, the pub at 305 Main St in downtown Placerville, is changing ownership. State filings show Boek Business LLC, led by Daniel and Erica Boek, filed for a new liquor license on August 17, transferring from the pub’s previous operator, Que III, LLC, run by Aldred Griffin III and Darcy Quinn. Erica Boek confirmed to What Now Sacramento that the ownership change is currently in process.
The place was established in 2016 by Griffin and Quinn, building a reputation as a Main Street gathering spot known locally simply as The Pub. The menu leans into scratch-made pub fare, including loaded pub nachos, fully dressed footlong dogs, fusion street flatbread pizzas, and a rotating selection of craft beer alongside local wines. The pub has also become known for regular live music and a family-friendly, come as you are atmosphere that draws both longtime locals and visitors passing through Placerville’s historic downtown.
