There’s exciting news on the horizon for the Memphis vaping community, as a local institution moves to a fresh location. Zooks Vapor, which has been serving the area since 2013, is opening a hop, skip, and a jump away from its former home, with work well underway on the new storefront.

Zooks has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for 2690 Kirby Whitten Road as of August 21. The smoke shop has been documenting the move on its social media page, keeping followers updated on developments.

The business is currently navigating a code hiccup, which it states will “result in either a lengthy delay or a change of plans. I will be meeting with planning and development to see if the process they suggested is truly viable and will update as I know more.”

Fans of Zooks are certain to support the company through this endeavor. The shop has strived to be a community for its customers; as a post states: “When we first began, this was more than just a business. It was a place where we mentored and guided. We took time to ask the right questions. We gave support. In the middle of all of that, we built friendships and many times deep relationships. We look forward to continuing that as we come closer to this next chapter.”
