The Middle Eastern coffee business is joining the suburb’s developing downtown.
The team at Qazzaz Coffee is getting ready to debut their new Farmington location at 32704 Grand River Avenue. This will be their second shop, following the debut of the Allen Park location in 2024. Owner Mohammad Qazzaz told What Now Detroit he does not yet have an opening date, but is aiming for the beginning of October.
The business currently operates at 5410 Allen Road, and was previously at 6908 Wyoming Street in Dearborn before it closed. Qazzaz serves Turkish, Arabic and Yemeni coffee with cardamom as a flavor option. Specialty pastries and sandwiches like grilled cheese are also made at the location. Qazzaz said the menu in Farmington will be very similar if not the same.
Qazzaz Coffee will serve fresh brews on the north side of Grand River Avenue, next to Valvoline Instant Oil Change. This is also near Simply Three Bakery and Sidecar Slider Bar. Shiawassee Park is right behind the building.
The new Farmington coffee spot is already listed online, with hours of operation being 7-11 a.m. everyday. There is parking on both sides of the building.
