L.L.Bean is heading to Colorado Springs, with the outdoor retailer preparing to open a new 13,000-square-foot store at The Promenade Shops at Briargate.
The new store will be located at 1925 Briargate Parkway, Suite 611, in northern Colorado Springs and is expected to open in late October.
According to L.L.Bean’s website, the new location is currently listed as ‘coming soon’, with the store set to offer a mix of outdoor gear, clothing, footwear and other products for life both on and off the trail.
Shoppers will find men’s and women’s apparel, active and casual footwear, camping and hiking gear, fishing equipment, luggage and travel items, pet supplies and accessories. The store will also carry the brand’s Signature Collection, outerwear and fleece, home accessories and seasonal outdoor furniture and hammocks.
L.L.Bean is perhaps best known for its Bean Boots, but the company’s lineup extends well beyond footwear. Its current offerings include outdoor equipment, bags and travel gear, home goods, clothing and accessories, with products designed for everything from camping and hiking to everyday wear.
The Colorado Springs store will also connect customers with L.L.Bean’s broader outdoor focus. The company offers Outdoor Discovery programs that include expert-led courses, tours and trips aimed at helping customers get outside and make the most of their time outdoors.
Founded in 1912 by Leon Leonwood Bean, the Maine-based company has grown from its early focus on hunting boots into a nationally recognized outdoor retailer. L.L.Bean continues to operate with an emphasis on durable products, outdoor recreation and classic New England-inspired style.
The Colorado Springs store will be L.L.Bean’s second Colorado location, following its store in Lone Tree. The arrival adds another national outdoor brand to The Promenade Shops at Briargate, joining retailers that already cater to fashion, fitness, home and outdoor shoppers.
For Colorado Springs residents, the new location will put L.L.Bean’s full retail assortment closer to the city’s growing outdoor community, from camping and hiking enthusiasts to shoppers looking for the brand’s clothing, footwear and home goods.
