Denver is getting a new place to put the pedal to the metal without actually leaving the city limits.
Peak Sim Racing is preparing to open at 1236 S. Broadway, bringing 12 high-tech racing simulators to a 3,200-square-foot space designed for motorsport enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The center is targeting a fall 2026 opening.
Owner Eli Sevilla said the goal is to create a welcoming space for people who already follow motorsport, as well as those who are simply curious and want to learn more.
“If you already follow motorsport, or you’re just curious, it’s a place to hang out with people who care about the same thing,” Sevilla said.
The simulator lineup will be divided into three tiers: two premium rigs, six standard rigs and four esports rigs. Eight of the 12 simulators will feature full-motion platforms, including both premium rigs. The four esports rigs will use identical wheel and pedal hardware but without the motion platform, meaning drivers get the same feel through the controls.
The rigs will feature direct-drive wheels and load-cell pedals, while the full-motion setups are designed to translate the movement of the car into the driver’s seat.
“What that means is they’ll have four actuators, one on each corner, and every bump, crack, curb on the track, you’ll feel it in the sim,” Sevilla said.
Drivers will wear headphones while racing, while speakers throughout the space will be used for screens showing live races. The setup is intended to feel more like a race shop than a theater. Peak Sim Racing will also track drivers’ performance, including lap times, sector splits and improvements, giving racers the opportunity to compete against friends or work toward beating their own times.
The space is being designed for all experience levels, and Sevilla said drivers won’t need a background in motorsport to get behind the wheel.
The company is also building a community around the sport, with opportunities to race, compete and spend time with other motorsport fans.
Ahead of opening, Peak Sim Racing is building its founding-member waitlist. The first 100 people on the list will get first dibs when Founder enrollment opens, ahead of the general public. Those who claim a Founder spot will receive a private pre-opening test session, founder merchandise, a grand opening invitation and priority booking. The first 10 to claim their spots will receive three months free, while spots 11 through 50 will receive one month free.
The venue will also be available for private events, including corporate gatherings and private parties.
