A local restaurant manager has plans for the far east neighborhood of the city.
From Detroit Metro Times, Cash Only Bistro has received funding to build out at 16215 E Warren Avenue. This concept was originally a build-your-own pasta restaurant that has been planned for over a year. Owner Sharletta Hall does not yet have a firm opening date.
“Located on the East Side of Detroit, our restaurant will bring a level of class unmatched by anyone else,” says the description on their website.
From conceptual pictures, the space will be used for both indoor seating and a bar. It is a large building, as it was formerly a dry cleaner for the neighborhood. A menu for the concept has not yet been released, but it will be more than just pasta options.
Cash Only Bistro is coming to the north side of E Warren Avenue, near the 3 Mile Drive intersection. This is across from Jeanies J Spot Grill, and also near Terri’s Detroit and The Warren Cafe. The area is north of Grosse Pointe Park.
What Now Detroit is awaiting further comment from Hall on the opening. More information can be found on Cash Only Bistro’s website or Facebook page.
