Palmetto Superfoods is coming to Montgomery Village in Santa Rosa, according to the shopping center’s tenant directory. The concept is listed as Coming Soon at 525 Hahman Drive.

In 2015, San Francisco native and longtime açaí enthusiast Charles Lee discovered Cafe de Casa, where he quickly developed an appreciation for its Brazilian offerings, especially its açaí. Through the café, Lee formed a close friendship with owners Thaís and Amanda.

Along with his longtime friend Hessam, he began developing the idea for a restaurant centered on high-quality açaí and other superfoods. That concept eventually became Palmetto Superfoods, which opened its first location in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond neighborhood in 2019. Since then, Palmetto Superfoods has expanded to multiple locations throughout the Bay Area.

The brand continues to develop its menu and offerings while growing its presence in additional communities. Its concept remains focused on açaí and other superfood-based offerings, with plans to expand beyond the Bay Area in the years ahead. Palmetto Superfoods specializes in Brazilian açaí while offering a broader menu of customizable bowls and smoothies.

The company’s menu concept extends beyond açaí, with the Montgomery Village announcement highlighting multiple base options and ingredients for bowls and smoothies. The center also describes the business as offering customization throughout its menu.

Palmetto Superfoods will join Montgomery Village’s expanding food and beverage lineup. The Santa Rosa retail center has been adding new businesses as part of its broader tenant mix, with recent and planned additions spanning food, beauty, apparel and specialty retail.
