Hot and cold brew options will be poured out at the storefront in the near future.

Qargo Coffee continues to pop up around Chicagoland, with the newest location coming to 529 Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove. The Miami-based chain has become a popular coffee option in recent years. Right now, franchisee Moiz Hussain is hoping to open by the end of this year or beginning of next year.

“The upcoming location, situated at 529 Ogden Avenue, brings Qargo Coffee’s refined Italian coffee experience to a well established suburban community just outside Chicago, known for its strong local character and steady daily activity,” says a recent post on the company website.

Qargo Coffee’s classic brews include the cortado, espresso macchiato single, iced late, and a caffe Americano. Many drinks are gluten-free, including the Neapolitan-style espresso con panna. Locations serve cold brews, energy smoothies, boba teas, along with pastries and breakfast sandwiches.

Hussain is also the name behind the Qargo Coffee planned for 4 W Rand Road, expected to open soon. His latest coffee spot is opening north of downtown Downers Grove, close to other restaurants like Popeyes, Dunkin’ and Five Guys. Downers Plaza Shopping Center is a short drive east of the location.

Right now, Hussain is waiting on the city for permitting approvals, then construction can begin. As the opening date gets closer, more information on Qargo Coffee in Downers Grove can be found on the company website.
