Manhattan’s Times Square is set to welcome a new burger joint this fall.
Burger X NYC, owned by Jitesh Magnani, will open at 360 W. 42nd St. between W. 41st and W. 42nd St. near Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Magnani told Whatnow New York City he was inspired by a friend who found success with his own burger concept in Pennsylvania. He wanted to create a similar concept focused on quality ingredients, with everything made in-house daily.
“I’m excited to sell good food to people,” he said.
Burger X NYC will start the day with breakfast, offering a classic egg sandwich with real butter, chives and house sauce on a brioche bun, as well as potato salad and egg salad sandwiches.
The star of the menu will be smash burgers, available with one or two patties and served with the shop’s signature sauce. The menu will also feature chicken and veggie burgers, alongside fresh-cut fries to round out the meal.
To complement the fare, Burger X NYC has been approved for a liquor license to serve beer.
The space will primarily cater to takeout, with four seats available inside for guests who want to sit and enjoy their meal.
Burger X NYC is targeting a mid-October opening. Once open, the shop will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m., with alcoholic beverages available for purchase starting at 8 a.m.
Stay tuned!
