One of the most recognized luxury bedding brands in the country is planning its first Austin retail location. According to public filings, Boll & Branch plans to open at 3200 Palm Way, Suite 132, within Domain Northside.
Founded in 2014 in Summit, New Jersey, Boll & Branch built its name on a simple but powerful promise: premium, ethically sourced bedding, with every thread certified Fair Trade from the first stitch, made available directly to consumers at prices that cut out the department store markup. The brand has since expanded into towels, robes, loungewear, and home essentials.
What Now Austin reached out to Boll & Branch’s representatives to inquire about the opening timeline, but did not receive a response prior to press time. Permitting records list a construction completion date of March 2027. However, dates listed in public filings are not always definitive.
While this would be Boll & Branch’s first standalone store in Austin, the brand already has a presence in the city through a shop-in-shop at Nordstrom Domain Northside, meaning the new store could mark the brand’s shift from a boutique-within-a-department-store setup to its own independent retail footprint in Austin.
The Austin opening comes amid an aggressive brick-and-mortar push. Since the beginning of 2025, Boll & Branch has expanded into seven new markets, with revenue across its retail stores up nearly 60% year-over-year, according to Home Textiles Today.
“Our retail stores continue to deliver exceptional results,” said Katia Unlu, the brand’s chief commercial officer, according to the same outlet. The company has said it will continue to focus its physical store expansion along the East Coast, throughout the South, and into the Midwest through a cluster-based growth strategy.
What Now Austin has previously covered several upcoming openings at the same development, including Levain Bakery and PopUp Bagels.
