Woodlyns, a new restaurant expected to open this fall, is aiming to bring a neighborhood feel to the city, according to a social media announcement. It will open at 947 Eglinton West.

It will be “a neighborhood restaurant inspired by the wooded ravines and sense of community that define Humewood-Cedarvale,” according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.

Jeff Goldstein and chef Josh Ling, formerly of DaiLi and Cafe Renee, are behind the forthcoming concept. They have brought on chef Nick Liu to serve as culinary director. Thus far, menu highlights on their social media include whole steamed branzino, a pastrami sandwich and matzo ball wonton soup.

Woodlyns is expected to open in October, according to blogTO.
