“New & Coming Soon to King Street!” said a post published to the King Street Charleston Instagram page earlier this month. “A few new neighbors are joining the district, bringing even more places to shop, dine, and discover while adding their own something special to the King Street community.”
Those new neighbors include several concepts whose openings What Now has already covered: brands like Palmetto Moon, Frances Valentine, and Babas on King. On top of all those exciting openings, King Street can also expect a new outpost of apparel and accessories brand Dôen.
“Founded by Santa Barbara-born sisters, Margaret and Katherine Kleveland, and a Collective of women, DÔEN is a women-run business offering collections inspired by a nostalgia for the coastal California of decades past,” says the Dôen website. “DÔEN exists to honor the bond between women, our friends, peers, and those who choose to live their lives in our creations. Each collection is designed to accentuate the beauty of both the simplest and the most transformative moments of life, and offer an empowering and approachable option for our community for years to come.”
At the King Street shop, you’ll find clothing, shoes, accessories, lingerie, sleepwear, and more.
The new Dôen store is expected to open this fall at 337 King St.
