Scissors & Scotch is targeting a December 1, 2026, opening in Smyrna, according to franchisee Kevin Pataluna, who confirmed the anticipated date with WhatNow Nashville. The new location will be his third Scissors & Scotch franchise, joining his existing shops in Brentwood and Franklin.

The concept combines barbering and grooming services with a lounge where customers can enjoy drinks during their visit. According to the Scissors & Scotch website, services include haircuts, beard trims, shaves and other grooming treatments, with experiences designed around different service levels.

The company’s grooming packages include The Ten Year, The Fifteen Year and The Twenty-Five Year. Customers can explore options tailored to their preferred service and experience, while the lounge setting offers a place to relax before or after an appointment.

The beverage menu adds another dimension to the concept, featuring cocktails, spirits, beer and non-alcoholic options. The brand’s website also highlights coffee and other refreshments, making the space more than a traditional barbershop.

Pataluna confirmed that Smyrna is the latest addition to his franchise portfolio and said he is interested in further growth. He did not identify additional locations under consideration, leaving the Smyrna shop as the next step in his local expansion.

Scissors & Scotch’s arrival will give Smyrna residents another option for combining personal grooming with a social lounge experience.
