A French-inspired steakhouse and brasserie is expanding its footprint across New York City.
Boucherie, from The Group Hospitality, will open its latest location at 444 Columbus Ave., joining existing outposts in the West Village and Union Square. The group also operates La Grande Boucherie in Midtown and Petite Boucherie in the West Village.
“Inspired by the carefree spirit and the philosophy of La Belle Époque era, Boucherie Upper West Side brings the timeless charm of a Parisian brasserie to one of Manhattan’s most iconic residential neighborhoods,” the website reads.
The restaurant will offer Boucherie’s signature all-day dining experience, featuring a blend of classic and modern cuisine alongside an extensive meat program.
Standout dishes include the prime steak frites, featuring a 10-ounce, grass-fed New York strip steak topped with herb butter and served with pommes frites; whole branzino accompanied by marble potatoes, a vegetable medley and piquillo escabeche; and chicken fricassee served with mashed potatoes, winter carrots, lardons and button mushrooms.
A curated cocktail program and an extensive wine selection complement the menu’s offerings.
The team looks forward to bringing its signature “warm, transportive dining experience” to the Upper West Side for celebrations and gatherings of all kinds.
An official opening date has not yet been announced, though New Openings NYC captured photos of signage already in place.
Once open, Boucherie will operate Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.
