After 10 wonderful years of service in Naperville, SixtyFour-Wine Bar & Kitchen is preparing to permanently close its doors. The restaurant will serve its last meal at the end of this month, according to the social media announcement.

Naperville’s SixtyFour to Close by End of the Month

SixtyFour-Wine Bar & Kitchen, located in downtown Naperville, is well known for its upscale wine and dining experience. The restaurant features automated wine dispensers that allow customers to pour red and white wines using a SmartCard. Guests can choose from 1-ounce, 3-ounce, and 6-ounce pours. Other beverage options include sparkling wine, beer, cocktails, and additional wine selections.

The menu of the restaurant primarily focuses on scratch-made American bistro dishes, which can perfectly pair with the wine. It serves charcuterie and shareable platters, salads, small plate entrees, and desserts.

Through a social media post, the restaurant team shared the closure announcement. The team stated, “It is with great sadness that we are announcing the closure of SixtyFour-Wine Bar & Kitchen and SixtyFour-Reserve Room in downtown Naperville.”

The restaurant located at 123 Water St #105a, Naperville, will serve its final meal on Wednesday, November 25. In the closure post, the restaurant thanked the customers, business partners, suppliers, and staff for their support over the last decade of service.

Reaction on Social Media

Following the closure announcement, several customers expressed their disappointment on social media. One of the customers wrote, “I love coming here. It is always so fun trying the wines and having a safe place to eat gluten-free. I will miss 64 Wine Bar.”

Another customer commented, “This unique, amazing place will leave its mark in Naperville. Loved the menu, the atmosphere, and the cocktail flights! Sad to see it go.”

In the post, the team added that they will provide full refunds on deposits for private events booked after November 25. They added, “As well as recommend several other local event spaces who will be happy to re-book your event.”

As the restaurant begins wrapping up its operations, the team asked the customers with unused balances in their gift cards or Platinum cards to visit the restaurant before its final day.
