BrickTop’s is shuttering in Buckhead.

December 31 will be the restaurant’s last day in business, a BrickTop’s manager Monday confirmed with What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.

The restaurant is “moving” to Birmingham, Alabama, he said. It’s unclear if staff will follow suit.

The Nashville-based chain first opened its Buckhead location late 2007 in Terminus 100, at 3280 Peachtree Road.

Remaining stores for the chain are in North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, and Missouri.

  • I am extremely disappointed. They were a restaurant that I would go to for celebrations for Sunday night dinner for lunch. I would bring friends that came into town and it was always packed when we were in there. I just don’t understand why they did this.

  • Truly very disappointing that this restaurant has closed down like so many other good restaurants in Atlanta. I’d only visited twice. The food was really good and I told so many other people about it and to visit… but what can you do?
